One of the top WWE Rumors buzzing around for many months has been The Rock make his WWE return and faces current Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 37. But WWE Latest News and Rumors suggested that this match might be not happening at Wrestlemania 37.

Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania 37 plans remain undecided

WWE’s creative team had been already told that The Rock is not available for Wrestlemania 37. So maybe The Rock might be getting his match against Roman Reigns in 2022. This match decision on lies only on The Rock’s hand that when he available for WWE return and wrestle a match.

“According to those very close to the situation, Johnson has brought up the possibility of doing a match with Reigns in 2022, but that’s a long way away, and he’d be 49 by that time. Obviously, this is all up to him; he wants in this year tomorrow or next month, and he’s in. But on the creative side, they’ve been told he’s a no go.”

First-time-ever dream match reportedly planned for Roman Reigns for 2022

Roman Reigns right now enjoy his heel run as a Universal Champion. He called himself a Tribal Chief and head of the table of his family. The Rock also comes from the same family, so the storyline is already made this time. Only need that The Rock availability and then proper WWE booking. But some issues preventing it from happening.

The changed location of Wrestlemania 37 and WWE also changed the Wrestlemania theme of this year. While there is a question mark over fans availability for Wrestlemania 37. So these are some concerns as Vince McMahon drop this match idea for this year.

#4 WWE Rumors: WWE starts NXT India soon

Once again WWE starts to think about expanding WWE internationally. WWE’s latest updates 2020 revealed that WWE can start an NXT India program in January 2021. This show could be broadcast all over the world through the WWE network and linear television in India.

“WWE will be launching an NXT India program. It’s expected to begin taping in January and to be broadcast digitally via the WWE Network and on linear television in India.”

WWE will kick off the program with an eight-man single-elimination tournament

This is not the first time that WWE has decided to expand the NXT brand. WWE already started NXT UK in 2018. Even now, the pandemic situation also not stop WWE to expand WWE internationally. WWE is also set to launch another NXT program in Japan.

India is a very important place for WWE to expand their business. If we look at WWE’s fans over Social Media then there 60 to 80 % of WWE’s followers are from India. This is a huge number and WWE does not want to miss this opportunity.

In October 2020, WWE reports told that WWE planning a big event in India in 2021. During media calls, all WWE officials announced that there are looking to expand WWE internationally and the top name on that list is India.

WWE initially planned an eight-man elimination tournament for India’s 2021 event. but we knew that anytime WWE changes their plans. WWE describes this India event as an ‘NXT India’.

Maryse already told that she wants to make her in-ring return in WWE one day. In September 2019, Maryse gives birth to her and The Miz’s second child. Since then, she is away from WWE actions.

In the recent Q&A session, Maryse addresses her in-ring WWE future. Maryse was asked if she will make WWE return ever. Maryse replied and said that she still has one more WWE run left in her.

In the recent interview, Maryse provides more information on a possible in-ring return. She clearly said that she will always be part of the WWE family, either she competes in the WWE ring or not.

Here are Mayrse’s words:

“I don’t think I will not be in with them [WWE] in some capacity. I always come back. Listen, I was back on SmackDown and I just had a baby five months postpartum and I had a match against Brie Bella on SmackDown. We were the main event. If you would have told me that when I was pregnant I would have started laughing. It’s really hard to say never. We will see.”

Maryse won WWE Divas Championship twice in her WWE career between 2006 to 2011. The first time she won the Divas title against Michelle McCool on a SmackDown episode in 2008. In 2010, she won the second time Divas Championship when she defeated Gail Kim on RAW episode.

In a recent interview, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg talked about his WWE retirement plans. Goldberg was signed by WWE in 2023 with a contract of two matches per year.

Goldberg was asked that if the end of his current WWE contract would be the end of his in-ring career. In reply, Goldberg said that he might continue to work even after that but not for so long.

Here are Goldberg’s words:

“We always have to cross that bridge when we come to it. I’m 53 years old, I’ll be 54 here in a couple of weeks. Hey, as long as my body can still do it, I’m still going to do it. It’s very tough because being a power wrestler at this age, I’m not the person I was back in the past. You have that sense of, ‘Oh, am I ruining my legacy?’ Well, you know what? I still have to put food on the table for my family.”

Goldberg also clear that he doesn’t hang up his boots anytime soon.  He also said that he does not see himself to wrestles till the age of 60.

“There are a lot of things that come into consideration, and at the end of the day, I’m a businessman. I do what I got to do to stay afloat and stay out there. I don’t see myself hanging it up any time soon, but then again, I also don’t see myself wrestling until I’m 60.”

“That stuff is so infuriating. I’ve had so many people say things like that to me since I’ve left, like, ‘We’ve pitched this for you. We wanted you to host a fu*king cooking show with wrestlers’. I’m like, ‘Yeah, no sh*t, that would be great.’ Nope, they don’t give it to me, they gave it to Bo Dallas… I love Bo Dallas, go get it, do what you’ve got to do. But, like, I could never catch a break… I couldn’t get anything done. (laughs) I couldn’t get a podcast off the ground… give me a fu*king podcast. Nobody gives a sh*t about that, but nope, you can’t do it.”

Renee Paquette on WWE giving a cooking show to Bo Dallas which was pitched for her

Kitchen SmackDown episode was started in 2018 which is hosted by Bo Dallas. That show not quite kicks off and only one episode was aired so far. Curtis Axel, Dana Brooke, and Alicia Fox were also featured on that show.
