#3 WWE Updates: we could witness breakout performance in Royal Rumble 2021 match

WWE Rumors Roundup - WWE Updates - we could witness breakout performance in Royal Rumble 2021 match - Sports Info Now

Royal Rumble 2021 is set to happen this Sunday on 31st January 2021. Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Peyton Royce enters in her second Royal Rumble match. She is hoping to put a career-defining performance in this match.

After WWE split The Iconic, Peyton Royce found herself in the dark where she has had difficulty putting her up in a singles career. But a difficult time comes in every wrestler’s career and Peyton Royce has enough potential to overcome this phase of her career and come out as top WWE superstars.

If we look at the last few years of WWE’s women division and superstars then there are only a few names present who took Women division forwards like Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and somewhat Carmella. Apart from this women’s and their performance WWE clearly fail in the women division. They are failed to build new female superstars who lead women’s division in the absence of their top female stars.

The Royal Rumble could be the breakout performance Peyton Royce needs

In a recent interview, Peyton Royce talked about her goals in 2021. Here are Peyton Royce’s words:

“Your guess is as good as mine. I’m doing everything I can to knock that door down. Those five women are so incredibly talented and they are in the position they’re in for a reason. I have been dying to kick that door down and I will keep trying every single week to do so. I guess it’s just gonna take time and really great breakout performance. Could happen at the Royal Rumble this weekend.”

So Peyton Royce tries to put herself on top of the Women’s division with her potential and wrestling. But all needs that WWE has to be giving her proper way to build her as top WWE superstars. Right in Women’s Division, there are two names that can put Peyton Royce over as a face that is Bayley and Carmella.

Even Bayley is all behind Peyton Royce’s back since they are working in WWE. She always wants Peyton Royce and Billie Kay on top of the WWE Women’s division.

Bayley constantly brings up Peyton Royce’s name backstage

Here is what Bayley said:

“I’ve always had an eye for her. She just hasn’t had the time to show that even when IIconics were the Tag Team Champions. She just hasn’t had that spotlight yet. It kills me that she hasn’t had that yet.”

“She knows me as a person and she knows me as Peyton. So for her to be so vocal about her support for me means more than I know how to put into words. She’s in a position where, you know, she can kind of help bring that next person up. I so appreciate every time she gets an opportunity to do that. She’s always mentioning my name.”

Even Vince McMahon also high on Peyton Royce as a single superstar. So we expect that she could be the future Women’s Champion.

Here are Triple H’s words:

“I said it a few weeks earlier ironically, not thinking it was going to happen so quickly but I said I’m like that little box on the wall that says ‘use in case of emergency, break the glass.’ There’s a little hammer there, you smack it, pull the handle, Triple H pops out. To be honest, I got the call the night before and was like, ‘Hey, we’re gonna write you in the show tomorrow’ and that was it. It’s not the same.”

Details of the phone call Triple H got before his last-minute WWE RAW return

“As a performer, my hat is off to all the men and women right now that are doing this week in, week out, that did it all this time during COVID and the pandemic and did it in front of no one. Did it in front of a few, did it in front of video walls with fans cheering and booing. It’s not the same. It’s difficult when you’ve geared your whole life and your whole career towards getting that reaction and working towards it and now you have to work towards the reaction that you believe that you will get and — but it’s not the same.”

The match against Randy Orton on RAW episode was Triple H’s first match since June 2019.
