Previously WWE also makes official that Wrestlemania 36 takes place at WWE Performance Center due to Coronavirus effects.

New signee in WWE and Former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski set to host Wrestlemania 36 on both nights Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5.

With this move WWE able to cut short show time because matches will take place for two straight nights.

“It’s official! I’m hosting WrestleMania this year…and it’s gonna be too big for just one night. For the 1st time, WrestleMania will be a 2-NIGHT event: Saturday, April 4 AND Sunday, April 5 on WWE Network! Tell you more this Friday night on SmackDown at 8 ET on FOX TV.”

“There’s no word yet on other locations, but they have other locations they control and could film in, including Titan Tower in Stamford, their new HQ in Stamford and their 3-D suite in the Performance Center (which would allow them to have matches in front of any 360-degree computer-generated background). The company could try and lean on their relationships with FOX or NBC Universal for assistance in finding places to shoot content for Wrestlemania. It’s not like Universal Studios Orlando’s soundstages are in use currently.”

“Before all the big changes, there was a plan in place to do a Heavy Machinery & Mandy Rose vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode & Sonya Deville match.”
