WWE itself known as professional wrestling promotion, created by jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1952 under the name “Capitol Wrestling Corporation”. In 1982 Capitol Wrestling Corporation change name to World Wrestling Federation. in 1998, then changed again to World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. in 1999, Finally, it changed to World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. in 2002. Since 2011, The Company branded itself with named WWE which is not change yet.
WWE has had partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for three decades. WWE Superstar John Cena held most wishes than any other celebrity in world. In 2011, WWE launched one campaign called a S.T.A.R (Show Tolerance and Respect), In this WWE superstar visiting children at their school and lecture on bullying. In 2012, WWE made a partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure for the purpose of rais awareness of breast cancer in October month. In 2014, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon combine established a non-profit charitable organization Connor’s Cure. In 2019, WWE makes an announcement that they make a partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

In 1997, WWE business expands with Mexico’s AAA promotion. In 2015, WWE makes a partnership with a U.S. independent promotion “Evolve” which WWE uses for its newly owned brand NXT.
